They Love Me…Well, At Least My Blog
I was surprised to recently be awarded two different awards from two different wonderful new friends. And it made me feel great because these are two women who’s blogs I read on a near daily basis!
First, I received the ‘I Love Your Blog’ award:
I received this one from Erin over at the Mom Buzz which is on my daily favorites! I love her blog too!
Now, as part of the rules I’m supposed to name seven other blogs I LOVE. That’s the easy part, because there are dozens, narrowing it down is the hard part. Oh, and you if you’ve won the award before, that’s fine. I’m still telling you ‘I Love Your Blog’.

Your writing style rocks, your humor is the best and well pee - it’s just funny when its in a litter box. And that bag - I don’t know why that bag makes me laugh - but it does. Maybe its just how you describe it that is so funny. Only you can make a bag funny! But at any rate, you’re welcome for the award. You so deserve it!

Soda - we call it something entirely different, as we speak Norwegian… Brus… There! you just learned something - again!
In Britain, where I picked up most of my English, I think they refer to it as pop or soft drinks, as you say. They drink mostly beer, though!

Oh, one more thing about the bag in the tree. I was walking up the stairs of our building with a co-worker. We passed by the window we always look out of to check for the bag. She didn’t see it immediately and clutched her chest and yelled “It’s gone!!!!” I knew it was still there and we double-checked, but it was hilarious to know that she was so struck by the possibility that it made it out. It proves that the bag is really near and dear to everyone’s hearts now. Bizarre, huh? It’s like our friend. I don’t know WHAT I’m going to do when it really is gone!
Thanks again for the award and your tater tot casserole looks scrumptious today! I could never improvise anything like that. I tip my hat to you.

Stine - I love learning new words, language and dialect. I’m a writer first and foremost, so I have this thing with words - you know? I love hearing what other people call something that we call something else. Brus is a cool word.
Erin - Thank you. I hope you found those blogs as awesome as I do. It was so hard to narrow it down, but these girls are the blogs I visit everyday.
Kathy - Thanks for the compliment on the TT casserole. LOL It was definitely improvisation. About the bag - I swear when I found your blog several months ago, I thought that was the funniest thing I’d ever seen. I kept thinking “One day she’s going to go to work at its not going to be there….and we’re all going to be really sad LOL even though we really don’t want it there.” That bag has provided much thinking for me. Wondering of course, how it got there - and how it managed to get so stuck in there. Your “bag story” cracks me up too! At any rate, I’ll be partially sad when its gone too.
