Stuffed Banana Treats Recipe

Published by simplywriting at 5:37 pm under Recipes Edit This

Okay, awhile back I discovered these and I wanted to get some pictures for you so you could appreciate how delicious they are. I just got a new camera, but these were taken with the old one, so to me - not as good. However, the treats themselves are AMAZING!

Stuffed S’Mores Banana Treat

Slice the banana open lengthwise, smooth together a little on the ends to create a wider opening. Stuff with mini chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.

Broil for 3-5 minutes and get this:

Banana Treats S’mores

Sorry about the pictures but my goodness they are goooood! The chocolate chips don’t look melted but when you mix them they melt right in.

When I was small, my mom would make something very similar for dessert sometimes. She’d cut the banana into chunks, put it in a bowl, and sprinkle the chocolate chips and marshmallows on top. Then she put the whole thing in to microwave. Same effect.

To this day, the smell of a cooked banana makes me think of those treats. :)

Oh my goodness - these look amazing! I will have to give these a try. My tot will be in heaven. It will have to be a before lunch treat though so that the sugar wears off by bedtime!

I had them when I was a teenager and I had totally forgotten about it. My kids would enjoy them as well. Thanks for the reminder.

We wrap the bananas in foil and throw ‘em on the edge of our campfire… Almost better than s’mores. Almost.
