Make Your Own Cookbook
Does your family have a list of beloved recipes and foods that they love for you to prepare? If so, are you working off grease splattered, corners folded, tattered index cards or cookbooks with torn pieces of paper holding your favorite spots? Create your own family cookbook. Here’s how.
The best way to do a project like this is to purchase a 3-ring binder and a package of page protectors. Using your computer or a decorative piece of paper, print the recipe onto the paper in whatever way you desire. If you make the dinner in the upcoming weeks, be sure to photograph the finished meal before it is served. You can include this photograph somewhere on your page. Slip the completed page into the page protectors and move on to the next recipe. When you want to cook, all your families favorite recipes are right at your fingertips.
This works out great as a gift idea, for family members making dinner when you aren’t home, and to pass along to your children someday.
